Mathematics

Mathematics Department seeks creative possibilities of Mathematics education through a wide array of activities, including but not limited to logic games, Rubmmikub, Rubik’s cube and origami. These activities arouse students’ motivation and nurture their senses of space and number. To further engage students, they are invited to be leaders in the creation of our Maths Magazine, Maths Week and STEM Week.

As teachers, we pledge to help students better adapt to the secondary curriculum. Our school-based bridging programmes equip students with the essential skills for this challenge. Consolidation of learning outside the classroom is also always made possible with information technology, including the application of Geogebra, flipped classroom and other learning platforms using VR. With these online platforms, students are encouraged to direct their own learning, and with our unique preview reading assignments, students are developed to be self-directed lifelong learners.
