Education based on Knowledge

Our school motto is “Wisdom in Action”. Thus at HLC we wish to see every one of our students become a person of wisdom. But before students become wise, they should first become knowledgeable. Thus knowledge should be the foundation of our students here in HLC. We want our students to be wide-read; we want them to keep abreast of new frontier in science, in art, in social development. For example, if we want to discuss Xizang 西藏, we ought to know about its geography, its people, its history and its religion. Nowadays, however, people often make judgments based on hearsay or second-hand reports. Hence they often come to wrong conclusions. Our education must be based on knowledge and on truth. This is what we believe in at HLC.
