In November, some of our students entered the 58th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (English Speech) competitions and they have attained commendable results. Most of our students have achieved Merit in the competitions. Moreover, 1A Jacqueline Leung and 1A Landen Kwan came first in Form 1 Girls Solo Verse Speaking and F.1 Boys Solo Verse Speaking, respectively. At the same time, 1B Samanda Lam and 1B Oscar Chan came second. Students who have entered the competitions have gained a better insight on poetry reading and they have become more confident, too. We are looking forward to more chances like this to promote language arts in our school.
