How can teachers serve as effective reading models for our students? The answer is: they talk with students about books they are reading. That’s why we held a meaningful reading activity on June 6 during lunch time.
Our principal started the program by introducing his favorite bilingual books “Classical English Poems 經典英語詩歌” to our students and teachers. His sharing of William Wordsworth’s poem was followed by teachers’ remarks on reading. Their unique and funny reading experiences triggered off tides and tides of laughter in the audience!
