Career Guidance

Youth Employment Start Center Visit (Oct 10 and Oct 17, 2009)

The Labour Department has set up a Youth Employment Resource Centre, Youth Employment Start (YES), at Kwai Fong. The centre will provide one-stop advisory and support services on employment and self-employment to youngsters aged between 15 and 29.

"The setting up of YES aims to provide support to youth to start right in their career, enhance their employability, help them to access the latest labour market information and to secure a firm footing in the labour market for sustainable development," Assistant Commissioner for Labour, Mr Byron Ng, said.

I think the ‘job finder’ is the most useful facility there because we can explore different types of jobs and find one that suits me. Jobs’ details are also provided.
