Activities from last year (08-09) -- School Culture Day Scheme
Concert visit for S2 students
"In those times of trouble, when you are most alone, the memory of love will bring you home." In an hour's time, students listened to John Denver's "Perhaps Love" and many other pieces in a lecture demonstration "Experiencing Life with Music." Music of joy and love, music of freedom and courage, music of sadness and dismay, Hong Kong-born soprano Jeffie Leung shared these different aspects of life through her singing voice. Students may also listen to the music at home by going online with a specific website provided by the organiser, Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
Concert visit for S3 students
In another lecture demonstration, also in the series of "Experiencing Life with Music," conductor Choi Ho-man shared with the students Western instrumental music. Mr. Choi has served as the resident conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and now he is working with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra in many education programmes. He is a very suitable person to demonstrate the positive influence Music has in his life.
