The aim of the MT was to introduce the TSA (Territory-wide System Assessment, organized by the Hong Kong Education

Bureau) and the course structure of Mathematics in NSS (New Senior Secondary Education) in our school.

As mentioned above, the MT was then divided into two sessions. In the first session, it introduced what the TSA is, how the

students could benefit from the assessment, and then briefly mentioned how our school would help the students to prepare

the assessment. In the second part, besides introducing the course structure of Mathematics in DSE with some sample

questions, a number of students, currently studying the extended modules in the course of mathematics in DSE (Diploma in

Secondary Education), was invited to share their learning experience, including how they can apply what they have learnt in

the extended modules. After their fruitful sharing, some students were very eager to consider taking the extended modules.

In all, the MT successfully stimulated the students to think about how they should prepare the TSA in Mathematics and how

they should wisely choose a suitable module in NSS Mathematics.
