Mathematics Day Camp for S1 Students

During the day of 25th September 2010, a Mathematics Day Camp was held for S1 students to enhance their basic mathematics skills. In the camp, students were formed into groups for the mathematics games and all of them showed a supportive attitude to their group-mates and actively participated in the games. They learnt to solve practical problems by themselves and consolidated their fundamental mathematics skills. The purpose of the camp was sufficiently served, students’ basic mathematics skills improved and it did enhance the students’ interest towards mathematics.
