Study Tips: Mutual-Support Study Group
On 9 March, members of 3 Mutual-Support Study Groups (MSGs) shared their study tips during the “Meaningful Task” (MT) session to promote self-directed learning to all students in HLC.
1C Belva, Sherry, Emily, Elaine, Joomi, Alice, Daphne, Fifi, 4C Betty, 4D Sharon and Terry shared with us the details of their MSGs. They met regularly to do homework together. Students took turns to be the “little teachers” in the group as some were good at certain subjects while some were good at others. They exchange their views of different problems and they found this could stimulate their thinking. All of them agreed that participating in MSG could help them get better results in the exam!
Students also listened attentively to their sharing and they were inspired. More students took part in the MSG programme. Up to now, 85 groups (more than 200 students) took initiative to join this self-directed learning activity. |
