Visit to the Legislative Council

Prior to the relocation of the Legislative Council Building from Jackson Road to Tamar in October this year, and to facilitate the students’ off-classroom learning in political and institutional changes in Hong Kong, twenty-nine secondary four and five History students paid a visit to the LegCo Building on 12 July, 2011. HLC is also the last group in Hong Kong to visit the LegCo Building before it’s relocation!

Following the visit, students had better understanding of the political changes that took place in Hong Kong in the 20th century. The visit also enriched their knowledge of the Building, its facilities and functions, and the current composition of the Council.
