On 5/1, HKIAAT representative gave a talk to our students. It lets our students understand what is accounting professional.

This is the first time I listen to this kind of talk-about Account. This is a good chance to let me know more about this like there is three kind of accountant and a brief explain on the demand and supply of it. In my own opinion, I think the most important part is the video part. The video is fun and let us know the way to be an accountant: Exam Mountain and QP Planet. It let me think about what I have to do so as to become an accountant and difference way to achieve. I think this talk a very useful.

After attending the AAT talks, I found that accounting is really an interesting sector. Accounting is an important role in different corporation as it is responsible for organizing different statistics and information. Other from that, the talk has also mentioned about the training of a new accountant. The training style is totally different from what we thought before. Not only exam, it also trains you to solve problem that you will face during work. It really impressed me. Besides, I think the funniest part is about the income of an accountant. I think that the income is something that unbelievable. It keeps increasing and the special earning that you can get throughout the year is six times you monthly income! It can actually attract us to be an accountant, but we know that being an accountant is not easy. All in all, this talk gives us a clearer picture of the role of an accountant in our society.
