Honour of the Ceremony

The First Investiture Ceremony of HLC Scout Troop

1701st New Territories Group was established in October 2009. After 10-month training, our first batch of Scouts finally made their promise in the investiture ceremony during the 3-day annual camp held in July 2010.

Our Principal, Mr. Poon, was our guest of honour of the ceremony. Together with our Scout Leader Mr. Sung and Assistant Scout Leader Miss Yeung, he presented the Badges and Group scarves to our new Scouts. The 9 young boys and girls officially became members of the worldwide family of Scouting after the ceremony and are committed to live according to the Scout Law and the Scout Oath.
