Round-the-School Race 10-11

On 3 December 2010, a memorable day at HLC, our School had been established for 5 years. We came to celebrate our 5th anniversary with the Round-the-School Race. The inauguration of houses was the opening ceremony. Our Principal, Mr Poon presented flags to the Four Houses respectively. He also reminded the Captains of Probity, Rationality, Sagacity and Acuity to lead their houses to have greater success in the future.

The Round-the-School Race had been divided into two levels, senior (S.4 and S.5) and junior (S.1 to S.3). Students represented their class to complete several circuits of the school according to their level. The atmosphere was raised to the peak during the Inter-class 5th Anniversary Celebration Competition. Each class representative presented his/her hand-made birthday cake to our Principal, Vice-principal and two parents. Creative slogans prepared by each class also showed team spirit and a sense of belonging towards the school. All teachers, office staff, janitors and students enjoyed this special day and we were blessed with successful competitions.
