The Ping Shan Heritage Trail

The Ping Shan Heritage Trail was the first heritage trail established in Hong Kong. The Tang clan, one of the Five Great Clans in Hong Kong, played an important role in Hong Kong’s history. Many heritages could be found in Ping Shan Heritage Trail.

This autumn, 5/11/2008 and 7/11/2008, S.2 students were divided into 2 groups and visited the Ping Shan Heritage Trail respectively. Through visiting the Ping Shan Heritage Trail, students could understand more about Tang’s History and the relationship between urbanization and heritage conservation. In addition, the visit would enhance students’ interest in studying history.
