On the evening of 28th September 2007, the hall of HLC was filled with enthusiastic parents who showed great concern to their children. Mr Poon, Principal, started off with a general picture of students' performance in the first month. Then he outlined for parents the major concerns of the year. Parents' response to the proposed parent-child reading partners programme was positive. Ms Lee, Vice Principal, highlighted the homework policies that help students develop a positive self-learning attitude. Mr Ng, School Social Worker, shared his insights into how communication could enhance parent-child relationship. The event was drawn to a perfect conclusion with a question-and-answer session and last but not least, a heart-to-heart talk between parents and teachers.
Enthusiastic parents packed the hall.
