Christmas Activities and Going down town

Christmas is the perfect time to exchange the warmest wishes with our loved ones! On the morning of 22/12/2007, HLC students gathered in the Student Activities Centre to enjoy the Christmas carols performed by our school choir. The Native-speaking English teachers, Miss Owens and Mr. McCauley told us the cultures of celebrating Christmas in western countries.

The ‘Table Manners Competition’ and ‘Christmas buffet lunch’, the extended activities of the ‘Ladies and Gentlemen Programme’, were the highlights for S1 while S2 socialized with friends in the class party.

Going downtown in the afternoon has been HLC’s tradition. S1 students enjoyed a tranquil and religious stay at St. John’s Cathedral . Some of them were honoured to be seated at the Royal section. For S.2 students, Stanley is not only a picturesque tourist attraction but a district of high historical values.
