Athletic Activities Day

The Athletic Activities Day was held on 15 March 2007 in our school. Athletes had been preparing for Round School Race, Inter-class Ball Games and also for the Cheering Team Competition. Athletes did well during the competitions and showed sportsmanship.

Round School Race was divided into two levels, Level 1 and Level 2. All students paid lots of effort in completing the race. Individual champions of Boys Round School Race go to Houston Lee from 1A in Level 1 which is around 1000m (time is 5’30’72) and Vincent Luk from 1C in Level 2 which is around 1500m (time is 8’19’58). Girls champion goes to Abigail Shum from 1A which is around 700m (time is  3’19’70).

Inter-class Ball Games Competition was held in the afternoon. Basketball Game was played in 3 on  3 style and the champion goes to 1D. Mixed double style was used in badminton game. Girls were eager to participate in the game. The champion goes to 1B. All participants were very excited after the competition and expected to have 5 on 5 basketball game in coming year.

A fun game was played before lunch time. 8 teams joined the game and team 1 from 1B was highly cooperative and won the game at last. The fun game not only can enhance their cooperation, it can also build up team spirit. Cheering Team Competition was very exciting and all classes were well prepared. Banners and slogans were used to support their classmates. 1D was awarded the best cheering team. After the prize presentation, students were led by teachers to dance. They all enjoyed the Fun Fun Dance. All of us are looking forward to the Athletic Activities Day next year.
